A typical Japanese tea ceremony isn’t just about tea, it’s a meditative practice that has been passed down for centuries from buddhist monks.

Listen carefully to the way the water splashes against the stone. Allow the dust of your mind wash away when you listen to the swish of the bamboo brush against the bowl.

Rie Maywar is a small business owner In Rochester, NY. In 2020, she decided to turn her passion into a business in which she teaches others her knowledge of Japanese Tea Ceremonies, the meditation that comes in accordance with the tea, and the many rules.

Project 3 : 2’s Day Collections Custom Logo!

Ally and Noelle are best friends living in San Diego, as life was getting busier and busier they realized they’ve been seeing less and less of each other..

So they dedicated Tuesday to be their “bestie day” and thus this became the inspiration for 2’s Day Collections, a second hand clothing pop-up ( ooo they also have events )!

But the girls needed a logo before launch.

They called me up and I was like “!yesss yesyesyesyes!”

No, It was a little more professional..

The Ladies wanted something Pink and Green. Something fun!! Something Y2K, but minimalistic. 2 is a special number, so two of something.

We decided on a Teeter Totter as that is a special object for the girls AND it is a toy that takes two people to use…promoting community and friendship? It’s perfect. ( It took three revisions actually)
